White pepper is produced from fully ripe black pepper berries that are soaked in water and the outer hull is removed, revealing the white/cream-coloured inner berry. The result is a cleaner, slightly less pungent pepper with a distinct earthy, fermented character preferred in light-coloured dishes and European cuisine.
SV Botanica sources white pepper from Kerala's established pepper processing facilities. The berries are carefully ripe-picked from Malabar estates, processed using traditional water-soaking or mechanical hulling, and dried to export specification. Both whole and ground grades available.
