Indian nutmeg from Kerala's coastal districts is prized for its high volatile oil content (7–12%) and rich warm, sweet aroma. SV Botanica sources whole nutmeg and mace directly from Kerala cultivation networks, supplying to international export specifications. Whole nutmeg is available in ABCD (large) and Sound grades. Ground nutmeg is freshly milled to preserve maximum volatile oil content.
Kerala nutmeg has naturally higher volatile oil (7–12%) versus Indonesian equivalents (7–10%) and commands a premium in EU markets for its clean sweet-warm profile. Mace from the same fruit is also available — a premium flavour ingredient often priced higher than the nutmeg seed itself.
