Fish oil quality is uniquely complex — it requires testing for oxidation, contaminants, and fatty acid potency simultaneously. We do all three on every batch.
Removes mercury, PCBs, dioxins, and other persistent pollutants to below detection limits while preserving fatty acid integrity.
Peroxide Value (PV ≤5), Anisidine Value (AV ≤20), and TOTOX (≤26) tested per GOED standard on every batch. No rancid oil.
Full fatty acid composition by gas chromatography — confirms EPA%, DHA%, total omega-3, and absence of trans fatty acids per batch.
Mercury (NMT 0.1 ppm), lead, arsenic, PCBs, dioxins, and furans — tested and certified clean before every shipment.
The correct omega-3 grade depends on your target health benefit, capsule size constraints, and cost positioning. Here is how each grade is used in commercial supplement formulations.
Natural concentrate — closest to natural fish oil fatty acid profile. Economical entry-level grade for general omega-3 supplements. Requires larger capsule sizes (1,000–2,000 mg softgel) to deliver meaningful EPA/DHA doses. Standard softgel fish oil.
Standard pharmaceutical concentrate. Delivers a combined 550 mg EPA+DHA per 1,000 mg capsule. The industry benchmark for labelled "500 mg EPA+DHA" softgels. Ideal balance of concentration, cost, and bioavailability.
Concentrated high-EPA grade for cardiovascular, anti-inflammatory, and mental health formulations where EPA is the primary active. Allows high-dose EPA delivery in standard softgel sizes. Used in Rx-adjacent products.
DHA-dominant grade for prenatal supplements, infant and children's formulations, and cognitive health products where DHA (not EPA) is the priority active. Available on request for large volumes.
