If you do not know a field, say so. A supplier can propose a grade, but you should know it is a proposal.

Comparing the Quotes

  1. Check each quoted line matches your species, part, marker and method. A cheaper UV-assayed line is not the same product as an HPLC one.
  2. Compare on the same Incoterm. Convert FOB and CIF quotes to the same basis before comparing.
  3. Note anything the supplier declined or changed. A quote that silently changes a grade is worse than one that says it cannot supply it.
  4. Compare the documents included, not only the price. Extra tests bought later cost time and money.

Sending Your List to Us

On our multi-ingredient sourcing page you can paste a list or attach a formula. Products you mark with Add to enquiry on our product pages are carried into the form. We check each line against our range, flag what we cannot supply and agree grade, assay and method with you before quoting. To understand certificates, see our guide to reading a COA.
